ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Position Opening for 2023 - 2024 School Year

Sacred Heart School in Ville Platte, LA of the Diocese of Lafayette, LA is now accepting applications for the position of ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Sacred Heart enrolls students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The school consists of a high school principal for grades 9th - 12th and an elementary principal for grades K-8th. Both principals collaborate extensively and report to the Pastor of Sacred Heart Church. There are 451 students presently enrolled in the elementary. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

1. Must be a Catholic who is in full communion in the Church for whom loyalty to Christ, his people and the church are of primary importance and hold a philosophy of education consistent with Catholic conviction
2. Must possess a Master’s Degree and meet Diocesan and State requirements
3. Excellent spiritual, educational, managerial and communication skills desired

SALARY: Negotiable, based on Degrees and Administrative experience.
